After My Spouse Visa, I Also Asked Them to Handle My Permanent Residence Visa

When did you come to Japan?
Around April 2017.
At first, I was attending a Japanese language school, but I dropped out, so I lost my student visa. After that, I married the woman I was dating, and in order to apply for a spouse visa for a Japanese national, I found Mr. Yuda’s page online.
What prompted you to consult Touch Immigration Law Firm about your permanent residence application?
Around 2019, I first applied for a spouse visa for a Japanese national by myself, but it was not approved. After that, thanks to contacting Mr. Yuda, I was able to obtain a spouse visa the next time. That is why I thought I would consult Mr. Yuda again this time and apply through him, so I asked Mr. Yuda to handle my permanent residence visa as well.
How was the support from Touch Immigration Law Firm?
They explained everything in detail and handled the process smoothly, so it was very good!
Thank you very much!
Did you ever think about applying for permanent residence by yourself?
No. I had applied for another visa by myself before, and it did not work out.
If this application were also denied, I would have to wait for a while before applying again, which would be troublesome. So I thought it would be better to properly ask an administrative scrivener to handle the application.
Please tell us how you felt after entrusting your permanent residence application to Touch Immigration Law Firm
When I searched online, Mr. Yuda’s website came up. When I looked at the fees, I thought they were not that expensive. Then, when I went to the office for a consultation, I became convinced that everything would really be all right.
How many meetings did you have?
We had one meeting. After that, we communicated by phone and email.
I Was So Happy to Obtain Permanent Residence!

How did you feel when you obtained permanent residence?
I was truly very happy!
Because I had changed jobs before, there were times when I felt anxious and wondered whether it would really be all right.
But Mr. Yuda properly submitted additional documents to the Immigration Bureau and supported me throughout the process.
I am really glad I was able to obtain permanent residence!
What are your goals now that you have obtained permanent residence?
Without permanent residence, it is difficult to get a proper job in Japan, but simply having permanent residence expands your employment options, so I am looking forward to that.
Also, I have a goal of renting a home in Japan, and I think I will probably be able to do that gradually as well.
Do you have any advice for people who are unsure about applying?
When applying for a permanent residence visa, there are truly many documents that must be submitted to the Immigration Bureau,
and personally, I do not think it is something you can do by yourself.
I definitely think it is better to ask a professional administrative scrivener to handle it.
If additional questions come up, I do not think I would be able to judge what to do by myself, so I strongly believe that if you ask professionals who are highly experienced with permanent residence visas, such as Touch Immigration Law Firm, you can obtain permanent residence without problems.
From the administrative scrivener in charge: Were there any difficult points in this application?

Staff member: In permanent residence applications, there are many cases where applications are denied due to issues related to annual income or payments of pension, insurance, and taxes.
On that point, first, regarding annual income, both Mr. Chanaka and his wife had stable income, so we determined that there would be no problem.
As for pension and insurance, when he applied to us and we began collecting the documents, we confirmed that there were some gaps, so we temporarily stopped the application. After that, once we confirmed that the most recent two years had been fully paid without delay, we submitted the application.
He also changed jobs during the examination period, but his salary increased, and based on the employment contract, the new position offered better conditions than before, so there was no problem.
It took a little time, but I am glad approval was granted in eight months.
In particular, we had supported Mr. Chanaka since before this case, when he applied for a spouse visa for a Japanese national. Later, when three years had passed since his marriage, we were able to support his permanent residence application as well.
Both visas were approved in this way, so as a company, we are very pleased. Thank you very much.
