Our Website Led Him to Request Support for His Permanent Residence Visa Application

When did you come to Japan?
The very first time I came to Japan was in 1993. I came as an international student, then worked in Japan for a while, and later returned to Shanghai. I lived there for eight years and came back to Japan again in 2010.
What prompted you to consult us about a permanent residence visa application?
My wife, child, and I are all living together in Japan now, so I wanted to make sure we could stay in Japan stably and for the long term. That is why I consulted them.
Why did you choose to consult Touch Immigration Law Firm?
When I previously came to Japan, I had asked another administrative scrivener to handle the procedures for me. At that time, I lived in Omiya, and Touch Immigration Law Firm was also in Omiya. I searched online again, saw that the reviews were good, and contacted them.
Did you try applying for a permanent residence visa by yourself?
I understand Japanese, so I usually do not have problems with other procedures. However, this time all three of us were trying to apply for permanent residence together. If possible, I wanted everything to go smoothly and be approved without issues, so I thought it would be more reassuring to leave it to professionals.
Because They Were Professionals, I Felt Reassured Entrusting the Application to Them

What was your first impression of Touch Immigration Law Firm?
They were professionals, so their explanations were easy to understand, and I felt reassured.
They responded very carefully, so after discussing it with my wife, we decided right away.
How long did it take for the permanent residence visa application to be approved?
I was initially told that it would take about six to eight months, or up to around a year if it took longer, and it was approved in almost exactly six months.
How did you feel after consulting Touch Immigration Law Firm?
The biggest difficulty along the way was that I did not know how to submit the certificate related to my pension, but they explained it carefully to me over the phone.
The procedures on our side were not that difficult.
We consulted them by phone several times.
Please tell us about your goals going forward
I was very relieved that I was fortunate enough to meet the administrative scrivener and that the application was approved smoothly.
Given my age, I do not have many concerns about what I will do from here on, but I felt that if my child had visa restrictions, it might cause uncertainty or problems in the future. That was what prompted this application, so I will be satisfied if my child can grow up with greater freedom.
Finally, Touch Immigration Law Firm’s advice for those who are unsure about applying for a permanent residence visa
If you have changed jobs many times, you should check your social insurance enrollment status, as well as your tax certificate.
In general, many people experience a drop in income, so I think it is best to check your applicable review period before applying.
Mr. Ye Qing, thank you very much for your cooperation!
