Ltd., a manufacturer of paper products in China, asked Touch Gyoseishoshi Lawyer Corporation to apply for a business management visa for their business expansion into Japan. We asked them how they chose us and what they thought after completing the application.

What is the nature of your company’s business?
We produce paper products such as corrugated cardboard in China and have them handled in Japan.If you originally ran a company in China, why did you decide to establish a new company in Japan?
First of all, as background, our sales in China were sluggish due to Corona. As you know, labor costs in China are inherently low, and our president thought that we might be able to compete in the Japanese market as well. He consulted with me about this matter and we decided to do business together in Japan.How did you find us in setting up your company and obtaining a business management visa?
My company’s office is located in the Omiya area, and I searched for an administrative scrivener’s office in the Omiya area and found this one. I called and made an appointment for a consultation.What was your first impression of Dr. Yuda?
I got the impression that he was a kind person. He was very friendly and did not seem formal at all. I was new to the business management visa process and didn’t know much about it, but he explained it in detail to me, a layman, without any hassle.They called and emailed me frequently and were very helpful.
How was Dr. Yuda’s response to your long schedule?
They contacted us frequently by phone and email and walked us through every step of the process. We had no trouble with the long schedule, and I think it went smoothly.Did you compare with other administrative scriveners when requesting a business management visa?
I didn’t. I applied without comparison and I am glad I did.Have you thought about applying for a business administration visa on your own?
At first, I didn’t even know what it was in the first place, so I did a lot of research on the Internet and got the impression that it was a hassle. I thought it would be better to leave it to the professionals, so I contacted them.Did you encounter any difficulties or problems in the actual application process?
There was nothing in particular. Basically, I was working as instructed, “Do this at this stage.” Basically, I did what I was instructed to do at this stage. I only had to prepare the items in the order they told me to prepare them, so the workload was light.Question for Dr. Yuda, what were some of the difficulties in applying for this business management visa?
Your cooperation in submitting documents, etc. made the whole process go smoothly. This was a little different from what was difficult, but since he was running a company in China to begin with, I took care to prove the stability of the business in Japan, including how big the company was in China, what kind of products it actually handled, and whether it had a good chance of winning if it moved its market to Japan. Yes, first of all, I am satisfied anyway. I had heard that it takes less than six months to get a business administration visa, but it actually took less than six months to get the visa, so I think we were able to go through the process without any delays. Over the long period of time until the visa was approved, I was able to wait with peace of mind because Dr. Yuda took good care of me. I heard that it now takes about six months for the Tokyo Regional Immigration Bureau to examine an application, and there are applications that were submitted prior to this application that have not been returned, so I think that the application I requested here got results relatively quickly. So, since the first response was so good, we are now asking a second company to proceed as well. Since the period was so long, if nothing had been done during this time, I still would have been a little worried.
